There are so many jewelry shops on Etsy it's easy to get lost. But every once in a while I happen across something special that catches my eye. Today's shop Abiza Jewelry did just that. Her use of raw stones has me drooling over tons of her pieces.
Using only sapphires, she was able to create this amazing ombré effect in this bracelet. I love the 14K gold fill clasp, but she also offers sterling silver, so there's something for every taste.
Another great option is this rustic cut Emerald necklace. It also has the same ombré look, going from pale mint all the way to the boldest of emerald greens. The perfect May birthday gift....too bad that's not my month!
And how about this raw aquamarine necklace? This stone is so big - I think this would look great with the longer 18" chain layered with other necklaces. They have a smaller stone too - equally beautiful but a totally different style.
I spent many summer days as a kid in the mountains of North Carolina gathering quite the collection of shiny rocks. But even then I knew that having handfuls of "Fools Gold" wasn't exactly a jackpot. But this Abiza Jewelry necklace totally redeems for me the "uselessness" of all those stones I prized so much as a kid.
I seriously think I would wear that piece almost every day. It would go with most anything and would be an understated statement piece.
Any other August babies out there? As a kid when my sisters and I would stare at the birthstone jewelry from the fake jewelry displays, I would usually turn in disgust at how ugly Peridot was. I mean who wants to wear lime green? Even now I'm not a huge fan since I like my pieces to be semi-utilitarian and go with a number of outfits. Peridot just doesn't hit that mark for me, but this bracelet might be the first thing with it that I've ever appreciated. The gold beads help to break up that tropical green just enough for me.
Abiza Jewelry offers numerous sizes in their stones, chain lengths, and gold and silver options. Checkout the descriptions of each product to see exactly how you can customize them. She is based in the UK so keep that in mind for the shipping timeline to the US.
I love that every piece is different thanks to the raw uncut stones she uses. No two are alike - I love knowing that each piece is as unique as you and me!
