American Machinist - Best of Etsy 2016

I'm coming out of the gate this year with a non-traditional pick in my book.  American Machinist produces metal hairpin legs to create your own furniture.  It's the ultimate DIY.

I've had my eye on these for a while, and if I could just settle on a furniture arrangement in my living room then I'd be out of excuses to keep me from making my own coffee table.  And by me I clearly mean Andy.   But in all honesty, how simple does this look to execute?

There are so many awesome salvaged wood pieces that I think are just begging for these legs.

Side tables.  Desks. Sofa tables.  My imagination runs wild!

American Machinist offers many different heights, finishes and styles in their hairpin legs. I'm particularly fond of these 3-wire ones.

If you're anything like me, you can never seem to find the 'just perfect' furniture piece you pictured in your mind.  I've got a hunch that this may solve the dilemma for a few of us!  Head over & check out American Machinist's Etsy shop - keep in mind they are willing to do custom orders if you already know exactly what you want!
