I know you're there. The person who is judging this post by it's title thinking "It's too early for Christmas" or throwing out the classic "are you kidding? It's not even Halloween". Well maybe I do like to have my tree up early. But today I'm bringing up Christmas decorations early because of geography.
Estonia. Obviously I wasn't in the National Geographic Geography Bee (that's a thing right??), based on my lack of ability to pin that place down on a map. But today's shop is the first (and only) shop I'm featuring outside of the US. So you need time to account for shipping. See? No need to be a Grinch...I'm just being a helpful planner!
Enter Cardboard Christmas. I randomly came across this shop while searching for some new Christmas decorations. And for real. This is crazy. But so crazy I love it. A tree. Made out of cardboard. Table or life sized. Green, white, or brown.
It's a tree in a box. The packaging is small and is a little mini DIY assembly project. So you know I'm in. It would be the perfect addition to my Charlie Brown Christmas branch.
In my mind every big city apartment in the world should be stocked with one of the big versions right? They're reusable and we all know the trouble getting a tree into an apartment can be right? Hello - Sandra Bullock taught us to at least get the Blue Spruce...it would have been lighter (I may be the only person who loves 'While You Were Sleeping', so this is probably lost on, well all of you...sigh).
Check out Cardboard Christmas' shop. And make it a kid's geography lesson while you are at it. Until tomorrow's post.......I'll sing us out with a rousing version of Jingle Bells.
