HootnHollar Clothing is an Etsy shop based in Nashville that makes the most amazing Disney themed dresses for little girls.
I'm a sucker for a dress with a great twirl and these most certainly fit the bill! Each dress is custom made to order so keep that in mind if something catches your eye - the turn around time is 4-8 weeks, but usually longer closer to the holidays.
I absolutely adore her non-traditional dresses from some of the Classic princesses. This Cinderella version with my favorite mice embroidered is just too much! Suzy, Perla, & Mary (the rarely seen mouse in the yellow dress) are favorites around our house! Jaq and GusGus tend to get all the fame, but those girls worked hard sewing for Cindy!
And this monogrammed Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) day dress? I need to create a separate savings account for all these dresses...how can you possible choose a favorite?
Younger girls may tend to lean towards the newer Disney Junior shows, and this Doc McStuffins is super cute! We have a collection of Disney movie & show character dresses for dress-up, but I despise the scratchy sparkly fabrics that they are covered in. HootnHollar's dresses may cost a little more, but will surely hold up better & lack the scratch factor!
I also love that she takes boy characters and incorporates those into dresses for all the little ones that aren't princess fans. These Toy Story numbers are the perfect example!
And don't leave out BB-8! Star Wars is for girls too!
We sing a lot of 'Dumbo's Circus' around here - I've indoctrinated the little one with episodes of the 1980s Dumbo live action show on the Disney Channel, so I know she would love this one (plus it was in her top 3 favorite rides at WDW).
And we can't forget the Fab5 (plus Pluto!)! This circle skirt has a spot for all of our favorites.
HootnHollar Clothing makes dresses that would be perfect for a special trip to WDW or Disneyland, or even to expertly match a birthday party theme. I hope you smile as much as I did as I browsed through their shop! Happy shopping (& saving)!
I've got one last shop to share - so hold tight until tomorrow & we will bring November in with a taste of Christmas!
