Paulrommer Fine Art Prints - Best of Etsy 2015

Happy Saturday!  I feel like in honor of celebrating this beautiful weekend here on the East coast the blog needed some color to liven things up, and today's shop does just that!

Paulrommer is an artist based in Spain that sells numerous watercolor-type prints in his Etsy shop.  I love that the bright colors can make these prints the perfect statement piece to spice up any room.  No matter what your interests or decorating style I bet there's something in the shop up your alley.

There are a number of super cute pet portraits........

and a ton of different poses of athletes in literally every sport you could possibly imagine.  Except curling.  I didn't see that.  Not that I curl.  But I totally would, given the chance.  Wouldn't this be an easy way to "decorate" a boys room?

And let's not ignore all that is Frozen-mania these days - I'm not sure Anna & Elsa will ever go out of style.  Poor Cinderella has been kicked to the curb.  I love the "subtleness" of this Frozen inspired print.

And let us not forget that it all started with a mouse.....

Your boys aren't interested in sports?  Well I'll bet any one of the prints of the Avenger's cast would be a nice substitute.

Moving back to more adult based options, I'm always a sucker for a new version of a basic map.  I've written a lot in the past about our love of maps of all kinds and these would certainly brighten up a very black & white category of prints.

Seriously, no matter what city you live in, have visited, or dream to go to - I bet it's in the shop.  I love these skyline watercolors - certainly a unique take on the classic map.  There are a few different styles of these cityscapes, but below are Charlotte, NYC, and Chicago to give you an idea of the options.

In between your Fall festivals, football, and afternoon naps this weekend, head over to Paulrommer Fine Art Prints and spend time checking out all your options - he has over 1,000 different items listed that you can get printed in various sizes & types of paper to fit whatever style your heart desires.  Don't wait too long though if you find something you like & might want for a gift come December -  even the best of international shops take a bit longer to get things to the US purely due to customs in each country.

Crafterall - 31 Days of Etsy

Today's Etsy shop is a cross between maps and art.  Crafterall is the home of the most detailed lake and coastal decorative maps.  Like seriously - look at this version of the Chesapeake Bay.  Total art.  This takes skill.

It's all made from card stock.  Just look at the details...it's ridiculous.  In a how do you DO this kind of way.

There are a bunch stock coastal scenes in the Crafterall Etsy shop.....Cape Cod, Hawaii, Seattle, Manhattan, and various lakes in the US.  Or you can go the custom option if there's a special place you'd like to see in 3D.  But I'll go ahead and burst your bubble that custom orders won't be done before Christmas.  But just look at some of these options & use it as a geography lesson if you're ambitious!

GeoArtShed - 31 Days of Etsy

My better half and I have a love of traveling and discovering new places.  In each new city we visit, we always try to pick up a map as a souvenir.  A vintage map to be exact.  No, not an original  - who has that kind of money?  Needless to say we are always on the lookout for map stores wherever we go.  Last year we didn't find anything we liked while in London & Paris, so we had to settle for finding maps when we got home to complete our collection.

GeoArtShed has some amazing black & white map prints for tons of major cities.  London.  Paris.  Seattle.  Atlanta.  NYC.  Even Richmond for my fellow Virginians.  You can even request a custom job.

Pick your city.  Pick the size print.   Enjoy a statement piece of art.  For example, check out this poster of New York City.

Our floor-to-ceiling map wall project got put on hold the day we decided to consolidate the craft room + guest room + office into one to make way for the nursery.  Sigh - one day the rolls of maps will finally be in frames and on a wall.  Any wall.  But seriously these maps would be awesome artwork for a home office or a modern living space.  The next city we will be visiting is Vancouver next summer on the way to Alaska, so you can guess the custom order I'll be placing!

Head over to GeoArtShed's Etsy store for see all the options he's got in store (pun intended).

Which is your favorite print? I'm voting for NYC - don't you just love New York in the Fall?

P.S. My friends, don't forget to check out The Nester's website for other awesome blog series' to follow this October!  Head over to write31days.com
