For a large part of a decade, my childhood Christmas list consisted of the latest & greatest Lego & K'Nex kits. Frankly, I still spend more time than I should eyeing the architecture sets each time I pass a Lego store. Guess I should have been an engineer.
Today's shop caught my eye with its ornate DIY building designs. Thomas Houha Designs crafts laser cut wooden models that you can assemble on your own.
We have an ornament exchange every year with part of my extended family & this is a super unique option to mix things up from the traditional Hallmark options!

There are a handful of kit designs of famous bridges, mostly from the Pacific Northwest - but since San Francisco is getting checked off my bucket list in 2017, this Golden Gate number caught my eye.
Be sure to check out Thomas Houha Designs shop on Etsy to see all of the fun geometric & architectural designs they have available. Such a great stocking stuffer idea for that person on your list that seems to have everything!
*PS Friends - Thomas Houha Designs is up for the USA Today Best of USA Makers awards. You can vote for them here & maybe discover a few other creatives along the way!
