Washi Tape Gift Tags

Between our travels and work and the tasks of everyday life, August has almost passed me by.  And in the meantime my crafting has dropped to an all time low.  So this morning I was determined to end my craftless streak.  A little pumpkin spice syrup in my oh so wonderful black coffee was just the ticket to get my creativity flowing.  Today's goal was to create with what supplies I already have in the craft closet.

I picked up both my twine & washi collection from Pick Your Plum.  Six huge rolls of colorful twine for $35 and ten rolls of beautifully patterned tape for $12, both prices include shipping.  Every day they offer one item (in limited quantities) at great discounts.  I've been happy with the products I've bought and sometimes they are really good deals (and no I'm not being paid to say that!).

I played around with placing the tape different directions, but I like the clean lines of just lining the bottom of the tags.  You're only limited by your imagination!

I knotted the ends of the twine to keep them from fraying while they wait for a package to become their BFF.  Let out your inner Martha - what will you create today?
